Green Lantern next super hero for Warner Bros.? December 20th, 2008

Alan Horn, president of Warner Bros., recently spoke to Collider about the future of Batman and other super heroes at the WB. The Green Lantern news comes towards the end of the brief interview, here is Collider’s transcript:

I then ask when we might be seeing another Superman. “Probably in the next couple of years. We’re very anxious to bring Superman back also.”

I then say Green Lantern? “Also on the board. On the runway. Hasn’t taken off yet, but we’re close.”

I finally ask what he thinks the next Superhero property might be from Warner Bros. He says “I think Green Lantern is probably the best guess but I can’t promise it at this moment.”

And Justice League? “Not yet.”

I hope that get enough realism to make this shit stick and I hope it doesn’t only focus on “hal“a-toe-cess. Ha! but I might go see it if it ever comes out…maybe sounds like fun and by “realism” I mean the lantern ring is more like the “singing sword” off of “Who framed roger rabbit”…I gotta admit my ego won’t let “the angel of the corps” thing go it all makes a whole lotta sense but then again you got “maud-a-dibib”, “neo” so maybe we don’t need another messiah movie but that “angel of the corps” thing has a lot of story behind it. it’s another (experimental brain twist “neo”, “maud-a-dibib” messiah thing I hope they clear that cheese up but then again they my not have enough time oh well
