Who knows which villains will star in the fourth feature film, but there are a few hints out there as to which characters will be favoured. First up, in January this year, Dylan Baker, who portrays Dr. Curt Connor, said this in an interview with IGN:
IGN: Have they talked to you about becoming The Lizard in a future sequel?
Baker: Only Sam [Raimi]. Only Sam. And, of course, the whole thing is in his head. So as long as his brilliant ideas keep coming, I’ll go with him.
IGN: When Sam hired you for Spider-Man 2, did he talk to you about the character in the comics and what happens to him?
Baker: Yeah, but only in broad strokes. We’re getting a little more specific now, but it’s still pretty broad.
IGN: So you’d be up for a lot of hours in the makeup chair to add the green skin and scales?
Baker: Absolutely!
And in a more recent MTV article concerning the next movie, Raimi talked about some of the villains he would like to see:
“I would love to see Electro, Vulture, maybe the Sinister Six as a team”
Slash Film have a great feature discussing the odds and likelihood of seeing each of Spider-man’s foes. They gave The Lizard a 95% chance, Electro 73%, Hydro-man 68%, etc. with lonely Rhino at the bottom with a measly 9%.

Hey, everybody know Lizard, Eletro, Vultura and Rhino…How the heck yall forgot about Mysterio? ( one of leader of The Sinister Six).
I think the top 4 villians to be in Spider-man 4 should be the Lizard,Mysterio,canage,and rino.
One other thing. I think black cat should team up with Spider-Man.

the lizard could be born and spidey fights him in the city and lizard wins and escapes then they could introduce max dillion and in a experiment he becomes electro and threatens nyc spidey and him have a huge battle and electro wins and spidey’s suit is ripped because of the electricity then they could show adrian toomes in jail and he escapes steals a special suit and becomes vulture.as vulture he robs a bank and spider-man shows up to stop him but vulture just uses his flying ability and soars through the air and spidey follows him and they have a aerial battle and spidey gets the upper hand in the beginning of the battle but vulture knock’s spiderman out of the sky and hits the ground hard and escape’s.later spidey runs into the lizard and they battle lizard nerly killed spiderman but he used a chemical to turn lizard back to dr.connor’s then we see kassidy in jail and of a sudden the symbiote breaks the jail bars and bonds with kassidy witch turns him into carnage he breaks out of jail and goes on a rampage in the city and spidey and him have a short battle and carnage drains spidey’s energy but he’s still alive.then later carnage electro and vulture team up to destroy spiderman and so spidey must fight carnage,electro and vulture by himself but later sandman comes in to help spiderman and spiderman and sandman battle electro carnage and vulture in the end spiderman shot two webilnes at a vehicle and yanked it toward electro and he falls down 71 stories then we don’t see him after that and vulture gets pelted by the sandman’s fist and we see his fether’s on the ground but not him.and carnage and spidey and sandman battle and spidey uses sound and sandman pelts him with sand dart’s and spidey tries to break kassidy and the suit away from him but he fails and carnage hits spidey into a wall then carnage turns into the slimy symbiote and crawls into a hole and when peter looks back carnage is gone.as for spidey 5 peter and mj are married and carnage and venom seek revenge and the lizard returns

NOOO!!! Black Cat should not be included as a partner to Spider-Man, perhaps a quick part as a villian but not Spidey’s sidekick. This will turn the films into very cheesy late Batman type films and would not accompany the current films well.
I think it should be Lizard, Kraven and blackcat in the 4th film.
In the 5th it should be blackcat, vulture, electro
In the 6th it should be scorpion, carnage, blackcat.
But have blackcat killed in the 6th one by carnage. Makes carnage more menacing.

Its really to hard to choose cause you kind of want all the villains in some how but it will never work. So when i look at my idea for 4,5 and 6 i disagree with it only cause it’s missing shoker, mysterio, ryno and more. The only character i wouldnt want put in is hydroman. Cmon people we have allready had sandman. Its basically the same thing. And nothing original about it. Leave him out forever.
Everyone also have to consider that there are 1st rate villains and 2nd rate villains. 1st rate villains are: Carnage, electro, vulture, Lizard, Kraven. 2nd rate are shoker, ryno, scorpion. 2nd rate means that spiderman can beat them pretty easy. This doesnt make them crap villains. Scorpion is actually my favourite villan. But theres one character who im confused about, Mysterio is he a 2nd rate or 1st rate.

are you insane. Electro lizard and mysterio. None of them are even alike. besides its to many villians. If you really like those characters then you should want them one film each.
I think it wuld be cool to see spider man face wilson fisk (kingpin) .Fisk has several assasins at his comand to make this a great movie.here are a few great pawns he has the Hobgoblin(hopfully he will look more like the books of the early 90s demonic), Spider Slayers, Jack O Lantern,Bulls eye, and hamerhead. If you must have a team up then consider DareDevil or the Punisher.

Mabye Spidey could fight Lizard, and when he beats him, have the venom costume follow him and take him over as a clue to movie 5 since they are both being released close together.
You guys are nuts. Carnage is over due. Venom died too easily. Kingpin, should be a defenit consideration. Mystero, ryno, and lizardman are also honorable mention. Stoping me is out of the question, its not a sugestion.

Don’t be obessed by putting many villains, ONE good vilain is better than 3 bad ones… Like in spider-man 3…too much vilains, not enough stories around them and not engouh time to develops the storyline.The Lizard is the one for the 4th, they killed Venom and The New Goblin, it left three good one. Lizard, Electro and Mystherio… others are no interests in a movie.

go with carnage to follow the plot of the third and make him the main focus and a complete BA villain that is very difficult to destroy. Then bring back venom as well since his role was completely botched up and he was barely in the movie and have a massive three way battle because spiderman, carnage, and venom should all be against each other the entire time. I would put more focus into a battle between carnage and venom however because they are similar in power and strength but would have a major ego clash all in the same. You could have the introduction of lizard towards the end for the fifth and also rely on the sinister six for the fifth movie because it would make a good story for ending spiderman with a massive problem if the fifth is the last movie in the series. The sinister six can all be battling to destroy the city and together put an end to spiderman but one or two can have a change in heart to join spiderman like rhino and scorpion since those two could have a bond or pit them against each other out of hatred and ego clash or something like that. But too many villains cannot be present because an effective story line for each cannot be added as well in that case. Need enough time to introduce them but follow the fight and several battles throughout the movie. The final battle in spiderman 3 is a good fight to base around because of its complexity and several things going on at once. Plus, it was just big in general.
I think it should be Lizard, Carnage, Venom, and Shocker! And i agree that black cat should be in it too! also i think they should also do something after the movie like Iron Man and Hulk for the Avengers!!!
The Lizard for sure to be the main villian for spider-man 4, but the begining part of spider-man 4 film should start with Rhino (flashback to when the mugger charater from the first movie gets out of the hospital in a wheelchair and wants revenge on spidey by becoming Rhino) we don’t see Rhino again till the 5th spider-man movie… Curt Conners hires Mysterio as his assistance then fires him for stealing stuff, then Vulture charater appeals by hiring Mysterio to ruins Conners reseach by messing with the lizard DNA and Conners mutates to the Lizard.
