Devastator toys, All constructicons revealed, Skids and Mudflaps Robot modes February 14th, 2009

With the 2009 toy fair comes images of new Revenge of the Fallen toys. So far we have two ver­sions of the Dev­as­ta­tor toy (one being a sim­pli­fied FAB ver­sion), all SIX alt modes of the con­struc­ti­cons, names for each of them (Ram­page, Scav­enger, Scrap­per, High­tower, Long Haul, and Mix Mas­ter) and images of Rampage’s robot mode, Skids and Mud­flap robot modes and toys (these are the Chevy Beat and Chevy Trax). The gallery fur­ther down also includes boxes for some of the toys, show­ing CG ren­der­ings of their heads (e.g. Demol­isher, Ram­page Bull­dozer, Side­swipe, Skids, Mud­flaps). There is also a rac­ing game enti­tled ‘Dev­as­ta­tor Show­down’ which shows a ren­dered ver­sion of Dev­as­ta­tor try­ing to eat Skids.

Awe­some toy concepts…EXCEPT…Jetfire. He looks like a twig that is ready to fall over with the light­est breeze that brushes up next him.

No mat­ter how long I’m look­ing ath this, I’m get­ting the Feel­ing, that those Devastator-Combination-Tools are NOT the nor­mal toys, but actu­ally the 99€ Set and so spe­cially lower-Detail-Stuff, than the reg­u­lar single-sold Con­struc­ti­cons, due to their lack of some details(that Scav­enger is miss­ing the Mechalife-Feature in his arms, which is now inseper­ate­able.
So those wil only be able to build either their Vehicle-Mode or their Devastator-Part, whch is in my opin­ion kinda dis­ap­point­ing.
How­ever he’s still quite a huge mon­strous enemy, but I’d rather wait till the Con­struc­ti­cons are com­ing out, to get those, which will actu­ally build a much more detailed Dev­as­ta­tor, if those are still combineable.

Skids and Mud­flap (The Twins) look kind of goofy, but I guess they’re the comic relief in the movie. Why do they have High­tower and not Scav­enger?????? :(

im con­fuse if demoloshor and scav­enger the same?why are they giv­ing it with 2 names?i love jet­fire but this movie ver­sion sucks it kinda give me an impre­son that if ever they will be mak­ing airi­al­bots it will all be a tin man robot.how i wish they make dinobots

Why is it that every newer trans­former toy i see in the stores are still no where com­pa­ra­ble to the old ones, we had the robot/train/plane, and they cant even make dev­as­ta­tor robots to trans­form 3 times like the old ones, come on, every­thing was bet­ter made years ago from now with such the cheap plas­tic and being that we all of the has­bro trans­former fans can’t even enjoy the new ones because they are nowhere NEAR the qual­ity that the old ones had, i am very upset of the fact of the dev­as­ta­tor vehi­cles CANNOT change 3 times, i had the orig­i­nals and they were awe­some, it seems we are the ones being screwed

dev­as­ta­tor is the biggest trans­former ever. Com­bines into mix­mas­ter, scrap­per, Long Haul, Scav­enger, High Tower, Ram­page. That’s all the stuff he trans­forms into.
